NEW YORK—The Blue Note Jazz Club has announced the launch of the Blue Note Blog, designed to give an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at the club’s world-class artists through interviews, videos, sound clips, pictures, articles and other exclusive content.

The blog will also preview upcoming shows at the club. Posts thus far include a video interview with Lenny Pickett, pictures of Trio Beyond’s show at the Blue Note, ticket giveaways, and interviews with Patrice Rushen and Henry Grimes.

    ​Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.

    Hammond came to the blues through the folk boom of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which he experienced firsthand in New York’s Greenwich Village.
