Bob Dorough Plans Release Party

On Nov. 14, singer and pianist Bob Dorough will celebrate the release of his latest CD, Sunday At Iridium (Arbors), with a show at the album’s namesake club. Dorough will perform with special guests Daryl Sherman and the Bobettes at the Iridium Sunday Jazz Brunch, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in New York City.

    Hammond came to the blues through the folk boom of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which he experienced firsthand in New York’s Greenwich Village.
