Charlie Parker experts will hold a forum at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center on Nov. 8 to debate and dispute some of the myths that have surrounded Charlie Parker.
Discussion participants will include Roy Haynes, critic Ira Gitler and Jazz at Lincoln Center curator Phil Schapp. Lewis Porter will moderate the debate.
