Trumpeter Dave Douglas’ Brass Ecstasy Band will release its new Spirit Moves (Greenleaf) on Thursday with four nights of concerts at New York’s Jazz Standard.
Douglas is also offering a mixtape contest for fans to submit their ideal 30-minute compilation. Winners will receive concert tickets as well as autographed CDs and DVDs.
