The Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition is putting out the last call for entries with an approaching deadline of Oct. 16.

This year’s judges—including Cassandra Wilson, Tom Waits and Brian Wilson—will award more than $150,000 in cash and prizes to 56 winners. Along with monetary awards for professional and amateur entrants, the competition will provide a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music’s five-week summer performance program to the first place winner in the teen category.
