Drummer Cobb Completes Album and Joins Vater

Jimmy Cobb is designing his “Player’s Design” model for Vater. Drummer Cobb played with Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie and Cannonball Adderley before joining Miles Davis in 1957.

He has completed Four Generations Of Miles, an album for Chesky Records with Mike Stern, Ron Carter and George Coleman. Cobb is about to release his solo album, Yesterdays, featuring Roy Hargrove, Jon Faddis and John Weber.
