French Jazz on Tour

French jazz band Dupont T featuring saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa will be on tour promoting its new album Spider Dance” (Nocturne).

The quartet is influenced by Indian music and African rhythms as can be heard in its use of sax and percussion.

Tour dates include:
Dec. 12 and 13: Twins Jazz in Washington, D.C.
Dec. 14: Philadelphia Museum of Art
Dec. 15 and 16: Jazz Gallery in New York

The band includes:
Hubert Dupont, double bass
Rudresh Mahanthappa, alto sax
Yvan Robilliard, piano
Chander Sardjoe, drums
