Herbie Hancock and his group will open the 23rd annual TD Canada Trust Vancouver International Jazz Festival June 20, at the Orpheum Theatre.
Also featured during the fest, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring Wynton Marsalis will perform June 27.

Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
