San Jose, Calif., will play host to an impressive lineup of jazz artists this weekend at the San Jose Jazz Festival. Headliners include vocalist Angie Stone, saxophonist Red Holloway, saxophonist David “Fathead” Newman, guitarist Lee Ritenour, and saxophonist-flutist Greg Osby. Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
