Joe Lovano and Dr. Lonnie Smith to Headline Umbria Winter Jazz Fest

Saxophonist Joe Lovano’s quintet will perform “Flights Of Fancy” with Judi Silvano at this year’s Umbria Jazz Winter. For the fifteenth year the fest takes place in Orvieto, Italy, The five-day fest, starting Dec. 28, will feature more than 100 events. Highlights of the festival include performances by contrabassist John Clayton and organist Dr. Lonnie Smith.
