Kermit Ruffins To Release CD, Get Hitched Onstage

Basin Street Records will celebrate the release of Kermit Ruffins’ new album, Live At Vaughan’s, at Vaughan’s in New Orleans on April 5.

All of the proceeds from the evening’s CD sales will be donated to the Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp. The CD itself is set for release on April 3.

In other news, Ruffins is set to get married onstage at the French Quarter Fest on April 14. The public is invited to attend.
