Kirk Lightsey to Honor John Hicks at Caramoor Jazz Festival

Pianist Kirk Lightsey will pay tribute to the late John Hicks at the Caramoor Jazz Festival in Katonah, N.Y., on Aug. 5.

Lightsey, who has lived in Paris for the past decade, has worked with Sonny Stitt, Chet Baker and Dexter Gordon. He released The Nights of Bradleys (Sunnyside) two years ago.
