Koch Records to Release Vinicius Cantuária’s Cymbals

Koch Records will release Cymbals, the new album by Brazilian artist Vinicius Cantuária, on Feb. 19.

Recorded in 2007 in New York and produced by Cantuária, Cymbals is a collection of Brazilian bossa nova and jazz songs. Musicians Marc Ribot, Brad Mehldau, Jenny Scheinman, Erik Friedlander and others perform with Cantuária on this disc.

Cantuária is scheduled to play select concert dates in 2008.
