To celebrate the release of her new album Quiet Nights (Verve), Diana Krall will perform a free concert on March 31 in New York. The show will take place at 1 p.m. in the Winter Garden at the World Financial Center, 200 Vesey St.
Krall will perform the music from the album, slated for a March 31 release, with her quartet and a 30-piece orchestra.

Hammond came to the blues through the folk boom of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which he experienced firsthand in New York’s Greenwich Village.
