Kuumbwa Summer Jazz Camp Accepting Registrations

The Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, Calif., is now accepting registrations for its annual summer jazz camp.

Music students entering grades 8–12 are encouraged to apply to this two-week day camp to learn basic improvisation and theory, concepts and phrasing, history, and jazz appreciation.

The camp will be held at Cabrillo College in Aptos, Calif. Registration is $200, but there is a limited number of need-based scholarships available.
