Marco Benevento Tours, Visits Carnegie Hall

Pianist Marco Benevneto announced a string of touring dates for the summer, including a performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall on June 20. The Carnegie Hall concert is at the invitation of headliner Jamie Cullum.

Benevento’s other touring stops this summer include an appearance at New York’s The Stone on June 11 and two days at the High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, Calif., on July 1 and 2. His band will also perform at the Discover Jazz Festival in Burlington, Vt., on June 12 and New Mexico Jazz Festival in Albuquerque, N.M., on July 18.

The tour is in support of Benevento’s Me Not Me disc, which includes his covers of songs by Leonard Cohen and My Morning Jacket.
