The Rosslyn Jazz Festival has announced the lineup for this year’s event, to take place near Washington, D.C., in Arlington, Va. The Sept. 8 festival will feature performances from violinist Regina Carter, vocalist Kevin Mahogany, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson and saxman Red Holloway. Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
