Musician Walks To New Orleans To Raise Awareness

  I

British guitarist Joe Topping is walking from Chicago to New Orleans to raise funds for, and awareness of, New Orleans musicians’ ongoing stuggles.

Topping—who is currently in Mississippi—will be officially welcomed in New Orleans on Oct. 12 with a reception party at Wyndham Canal Palace at 6:00. Along with a performance by the New Wave Brass Band, a silent auction will be held at the reception to benefit the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund.
