Nathanson’s Subway Stories at MASS MoCA

Returning four years after their initial appearance at MASS MoCA, The Jazz Passengers, led by saxophonist Roy Nathanson, will debut Subway Stories Nov. 17 at MASS MoCA’s Club B-10 in North Adams, Mass.

Subway Stories will pair Nathanson’s subway story-songs with sampled sounds from beneath the city streets and projected images of the New York subway system.

Joining Nathanson will be trombonist Curtis Fowlkes, Bill Ware on vibes, E.J. Rodriguez on percussion, Brad Jones on bass and Sam Bardfeld on violin.
