Concord will release Marcus Miller’s new album, Marcus, March 4, 2008. Marcus’ seventh solo release includes guest appearances by Corinne Bailey Rae, Lalah Hathaway, Keb’ Mo’ and others. The 13-track funk-jazz album will feature covers of Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground,” Miles Davis’ “Jean Pierre” and “What is Hip?” from Tower of Power. Corinne Bailey Rae sings Deniece Williams’ “Free.”
