New Album, Iridium Run For Eddie Daniels

Clarinetist Eddie Daniels will release Homecoming: Eddie Daniels Live At The Iridium (IPO) on Sept. 4, followed by a four-night stint at the club in October.

The double disc set features Daniels on clarinet and tenor sax, Joe Locke on vibes, Tom Ranier on piano, Dave Finck on bass and Joe LaBarbera on drums. The group recorded at New York’s Iridium jazz club during Daniels’ 65th birthday week from Oct. 19-22, 2006.

Daniels will celebrate the record’s release with live sets at the venue from Oct. 18-22. For more information, visit iridiumjazzclub.com.
