New Haven’s Firehouse 12 Announces New Concert Season

Firehouse 12, a performance space/recording studio/bar in New Haven, Conn., has announced its fall concert season, which will run from September through December.

Matthew Shipp will open the series with a solo piano concert on Sept. 22. Other performances include the Andrew Cyrille/Greg Osby duo on Oct. 20, Dave Allen Quartet on Nov. 4 and Gerald Cleaver on Dec. 15.

    ​Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
