Ornette Coleman to Appear in Vancouver

Vancouver’s Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, in partnership with the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad, will present saxophonist Ornette Coleman in concert Feb. 17 at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (UBC).

Coleman’s ensemble includes accoustic bassists Tony Falanga and Charnett Moffet, Al McDowell on electric bass and Coleman’s son Denardo on drums.
