Charles Lloyd & The Marvels are set to play the 40th installment of The Playboy Jazz Festival at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl in June.

Held at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, the festival is set to run June 9-10 with a slew of veteran talent on the bill, including Charles Lloyd & The Marvels with Lucinda Williams, Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin, The Tower of Power, as well as newer acts like Snarky Puppy, Kneebody and Daymé Arocena.
The festival also is set to celebrate what would have been Freddie Hubbard’s 80th birthday with performances by Randy Brecker, Nicholas Payton, Jeremy Pelt and David Weiss.
