Tony Scherr To Host Residency, Release Album

In July, guitarist Tony Scherr will host weekly performances at Marion’s Marquee Lounge in New York City as he gears up for the September release of his sophomore album, Twist In The Wind.

The residency will feature rotating guest opening acts, along with Scherr on vocals and electric guitar, Rob Jost on bass and Anton Fier on drums.

Scherr’s upcoming album, to be released on Smells Like Records, includes guest appearances by Bill Frisell, Willie Nelson’s longtime harmonica player Mickey Raphael, Mauro Refosco and Kate Fenner.
