The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis has announced its new 2006–2007 performing arts program. Among these international and classical performances, percussionist Bobby Previte will debut his Separation on Feb. 2 and 3, 2007.
Jason Moran, who received a Walker commission last year, will release the resulting composition, “Milestone” on his Artist In Residence disc (Blue Note) on Sept. 12.

Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
