Monterey Jazz Festival To Auction 8 Front Row Seats

  I

The Monterey Jazz Festival will auction an eight-seat Front Box for the 45th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival, Sept. 20-22 at the Monterey Fairgrounds. Jazz fans will have an opportunity to enjoy seating in the Front Box area, directly in front of the stage, the closest seating available in the Arena, and help further jazz education at the same time, with all auction proceeds donated to the Festival’s Jazz Education Fund.

Bidding on “The Jazz Education Box” will start on May 1 and end on May 10. The Front Box Auction will take place on the popular internet auction web site Ebay exclusively. Fans interested in bidding on the box are advised to visit the Ebay web site at that time. Patrons are advised that the Front Box seats will be valid for the 2002 Festival only, and that the seats are not renewable. The winning bid will include a Front Box with 8 seats to all five Jimmy Lyons Stage concerts for the year 2002, 4 VIP Parking Passes, and 8 Invitations to the Festival’s Private VIP Artist Bar.

Further information is available on The Monterey Jazz Festival web site, www.montereyjazzfestival.org.
