Casio has introduced two new entry-level models in its Celviano digital piano series. The classic design of the AP-300 (pictured), with gold accents on the logo and key cover, exudes sophistication with a traditional aesthetic. The AP-S200’s slim profile, measuring only 11.8 inches in depth, allows it to fit into smaller living spaces. Both models feature a two-channel, two-speaker sound system incorporating sound source technologies from Casio’s higher-end Celviano pianos. The digital instruments’ 19 built-in tones include elegant grand piano sounds that provide a wide range of dynamic expressions. An innovative acoustic design allows sound to diffuse naturally from the instruments’ cabinets. Each model is equipped with the Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard, which combines physical hammer mechanisms with digital control technology to capture the subtle nuances of performance. Both models include a WU-BT10 Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter, enabling wireless connectivity to devices like smartphones or computers and integration with MIDI-capable apps like Casio Music Space.
Latin Percussion has launched its LP World Beat, a curated collection of family-friendly recreational rhythm-making products. LP partnered with artist Mona Tavakoli and adapted her original art to create the aesthetic of LP World Beat. The collection includes pre-tuned and tunable djembes of various sizes, pre-tuned ashikos, bongos and tubular bass drums, as well as multiple hand drums and hand percussion. All instruments feature colorful and durable shells designed to last.
