    Open Tunings & Hybrid Slide

Stringjoy has collaborated with guitar virtuoso Joey Landreth, frontman of the Bros. Landreth, to release the Stringjoy Joey Landreth Artist Signature set. Stringjoy Joey Landreth Artist Signature strings were born of a decade-long collaboration between Stringjoy founder Scott Marquart and Landreth in which the two sought to formulate the perfect set for Landreth’s use of open tunings and hybrid slide technique. The result is the Joey Landreth Signature strings, which feature gauges ranging from .019 to .056 (.019, .022 plain, .024 wound, .032, .044, .056). These nickel-wound strings include a wound third string and are designed specifically for open C and other dropped or open tunings on standard scale-length guitars. They’re optimized for both slide and fretted/hybrid playing styles.

    Advanced Monitor Performance

PMC has unveiled new Main Monitor Series models. Marking the company’s 35th anniversary, this launch represents PMC’s first complete reinvention of its main monitoring systems in more than three decades and is the most substantial advancement since the range was last updated 10 years ago. The latest designs advance every aspect of monitor performance, including driver technology, system architecture and software control. The Main Monitor Series has launched with four models — the PMC10 (pictured), PMC12, PMC15 and PMC10-4 — each a fully active three-way design based on PMC’s new driver platform and ATL architecture. All can be used as standalone full-range monitors or expanded with matching XBD cabinets, which add a dedicated LF enclosure for increased bass headroom and system scalability.
