Focusrite has introduced the ISA C8X, the first audio interface in its ISA range, combining classic ISA preamp design with modern recording workflow features in a 26-in, 28-out USB-C interface. The 2U rackmount unit includes two ISA transformer-based preamps with up to 79dB of gain, Console and 430 Air analog modes, six additional low-noise mic preamps and full remote control through Focusrite Control 2 software. The ISA C8X also features 24-bit/192kHz conversion, up to 125dB dynamic range, extensive analog and digital I/O, and monitoring support up to 7.1.4 surround formats. The interface ships with Focusrite’s Hitmaker Expansion software bundle.
