The new pure walnut shells feature DW’s VLT (Vertical Low Timbre) shell technology, helping the drums deliver a full-bodied, musical tone with a decidedly shorter note. Available as part of the Collector’s Series line, pure walnut is ideal for drummers seeking a unique sonic personality that’s well-suited for live performance and recording. Each pure walnut shell is hand-crafted at the company’s California factory and available with DW’s drum hardware.
Cordoba Guitars has introduced the Stage Artist Series, continuing the evolution of its Stage Series of solidbody nylon-string electric guitars. The series comprises the Stage Artist Agave Burst, Stage Artist Habano Burst and Stage Artist Traditional models. All Stage Artist guitars feature upscale appointments, including elegant ebony binding accented with bold maple purfling, flamed maple arches logos and rosewood knobs with maple inlays. The Stage Artist Agave Burst and Habano Burst models feature Cordoba’s Exotic Top design — an ultra-thin premium flamed maple veneer applied to a solid spruce top. Their unique Fusion necks are slightly thinner and narrower than conventional nylon-string guitar necks, offering a playing experience closer to that of a steel-string guitar.
