    Analog Drive

Tech 21 has released the SansAmp Para Driver DI to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The SansAmp Para Driver DI evolved from the SansAmp Acoustic DI, which was released in 1997. In 2005, the new design incorporated a Drive control and footswitchable bypass and was renamed the Para Driver. To commemorate its official 20th anniversary, Tech 21 is issuing a limited edition of just 500 with an anodized precision-machined aluminum billet housing and all metal knobs. Engineered for recording and live applications, the 100% analog pedal is useful not only with guitar and bass, but virtually any instrument. Its proprietary SansAmp circuity eliminates the unnatural harmonics of piezo pickups, making it useful with acoustic/electric guitars as well as upright bass, violin, cello and viola.

    Endpin Anchor

On-Stage’s CBS2000 Endpin Anchor Strap for bass or cello is a stabilizing accessory that helps players keep their instrument securely in position and solves the problem of the instrument’s endpin sliding away on hard or slippery floors. The metal ring at one end attaches to the leg of the player’s stool, and the endpin is held in place by the anchor at the other end. The cylindrical endpin slot fully surrounds the endpin, keeping it firmly in place. Nonslip rubber padding on the slot’s base increases traction and protects flooring from scratches. A slide buckle lets musicians adjust the length from 16.5 to 30 inches.
