Akai Professional has launched the MPC Sample, its most accessible standalone sampler to date, bringing the MPC workflow to a portable, battery-powered device designed for creators of any skill level. Inspired by classic MPC systems like the MPC60, MPC Sample lets producers sample, chop and build beats anywhere, with no computer required. The compact device fits easily into a backpack, making it ideal for beatmaking on the couch, backstage or on the go. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to five hours of continuous use, while a built-in speaker and internal microphone let producers capture ideas without additional gear.

4099 CORE+ Instrument Microphone
DPA Microphones has debuted the 4099 CORE+ Instrument Microphone and redesigned instrument clip solutions. The 4099 CORE+ adds 10dB of dynamic range and a higher clipping point, and it uses CORE+ technology to reduce distortion and improve transparency. The microphone is designed to minimize non-linearities in the membrane and circuitry for more accurate sound reproduction. The company will also introduce a new mounting system, including the G-Mount and XLR-Mount, plus updated clips for improved stability and compatibility.
