PRS Guitars and David Grissom have announced the PRS DGT 15 amp and its matching 1x12 cabinet. With all the magic of smaller-wattage vintage tube amps, the low-watt, all-tube amplifier fully is applicable in a modern setting thanks to its high-functioning tone-sculpting controls. Starting with a three-band TMB tone stack, the DGT 15 also includes a three-position bright switch, boost, reverb, top cut and presence front-panel controls. The bright switch can be set to on, off or on except when the boost is engaged — so players can intricately manipulate the amp’s high end.
Porter & Davies (P&D) has added two classic colors to its throne range: Antique Red Vinyl and Navy Blue Vinyl. The expanded seat cover color palette offers drummers even more opportunities to personalize their drum thrones. P&D thrones are designed to partner with the complete range of its patented silent tactile monitoring systems, including the BC2, BC2rm, BC Gigster and the TT6 Equipped Throne tops. They’re available in three styles: the traditional round seat for freedom of movement; the ergonomic saddle seat with cutaways to allow unimpeded thigh movement; and the roomy extra-wide seat.
