Roland has added two new models to its RD series of stage pianos: the RD-2000 EX and RD-88 EX. The new instruments offer players expanded creative capabilities with new piano sounds. The RD-2000 EX comes with two pre-installed V-Piano Expansion titles: German Concert V-Piano Expansion 01, inspired by concert-class grand pianos and featuring 17 ready-to-play tones; and Essential Upright V-Piano Expansion 02, developed with the distinctive character and the spatial quality of a high-end upright piano featuring a range of 14 preset tones. The RD-88 EX (pictured) comes installed with Roland’s SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 Expansion, adding a premium concert piano option that complements the SuperNATURAL acoustic and electric pianos already included. The expansion offers 15 distinctive tones and 20 scenes.
On-Stage’s new MS7550 One-Handed Mic Stand with Tripod Base features an ergonomic clutch that makes it easy to adjust the stand’s height using only one hand. The stand’s specialized clutch, which unlocks when squeezed and locks automatically when released, is attached to the upper shaft for quick, easy height adjustments between 46.5 inches and 72.8 inches. The telescoping mic boom adjusts in length from 18.7 inches to 33.1 inches, enabling performers and engineers to precisely position a mic for best sound, while keeping the base in a convenient location.
