The new Mark IIC+ 1x12 Combo and Head from Mesa/Boogie are authentic recreations of the legendary originals. Over the past four decades, they’ve been used on many recordings in a wide range of genres. Now back in production, the Mark IIC+’s single row of controls is shared by its two modes (preamps), one for rhythm (clean) and one for lead (overdrive). Independent, though still interactive, sets of gain and volume controls help optimize each gain structure while shared tone controls handle the broad-stroke voicing.
EarthQuaker Devices is commemorating its 20th anniversary with a special hyper-limited edition of the Hoof Fuzz. It features the same hand-soldered through-hole construction and super-rare military spec germanium transistors that were used in the original version that launched EarthQuaker Devices 20 years ago. This limited-edition of 400 units comes in a Platinum Vein enclosure with black print. It’s packaged in a custom wooden box and satin bag and is bundled with an exclusive enamel pin, woven patch and metallic sticker.
