On-Stage has released the ASMS3000 Isolation Shield, which surrounds the back and sides of a microphone to improve its immediate recording environment. Composed of absorptive foam and a diffusive screen, the shield preserves the purity of a sound source by blocking room reflections while dampening the volume of other instruments and background noise. The included mounting stem positions the microphone at the proper vertical level within the shield while the shield adjusts in horizontal distance relative to the microphone, enabling precise placement for optimal sound protection.
