Roland’s new GP digital piano series includes four models: the GP-9, GP-9M, GP-6 and GP-3 (pictured). The GP-9 is equipped with the optimal feel and sound that a grand piano has to offer in a low-maintenance package. The GP-9M is a high-resolution, self-playing grand that fills a room with a rich, dynamic sound. The GP-6 features a grand piano design in a compact form and offers the benefits of modern technology without compromising the feel and sound of a true grand. Finally, the GP-3 has an authentic grand piano sound and key action at an affordable price in a compact design.
EarthQuaker Devices has reissued the White Light Overdrive. The EQD overdrive has been updated with a new enclosure, top-mounted jacks and its proprietary Flexi-Switch Technology. The White Light is a hard-clipping, vintage-voiced dirt pedal. The unit’s “weight” control lets players adjust the saturation and low end, providing plenty of tonal shaping options. The gain control goes from clean to a crunchy overdrive. The compression switch allows players to further fine-tune the character of the distortion.
