Three new finishes have been added to Yamaha’s Stage Custom Birch Drums, which have served as a standard-setter for sound and value since the series was introduced in 1995. The current lineup now includes Classic White (replacing Polar White), an eye-catching Matte Surf Green (pictured) and a stunning Deep Blue Sunburst, each finished in beautiful high-gloss lacquer. The drums’ six-ply birch shells give them a low fundamental, warm tone, short decay, quick attack and good separation.
