    Beech Wood Kompressors

    Following the launch of the Kompressor Snare Drum series metal shell snare drums earlier this year, Sonor has added two new wood snare drums to the lineup. The new beech shells are equally powerful, responsive and versatile as their metal counterparts, covering a range of musical styles with their warm midrange tone. Made in Germany, the snares project with dynamic and articulate sound. Featuring Sonor’s proprietary Cross-Laminated Tension Free shell construction process and Optimum Shell Measurements, the slightly undersized diameter allows for ideal contact between the shell and the drumhead in all tunings.

    Semi-Hollow Comebacks

    D’Angelico Guitars has reintroduced three semi-hollow models in its Premier series — the SS, DC and Mini DC — now with premium upgrades and available in vintage-inspired colors. The Premier DC is a versatile double-cutaway semi-hollow offering a huge range of tones. The revamped Premier SS features custom Supro Bolt Buckers voiced to suit its 15-inch-wide semi-hollow body. The Premier Mini DC is a 14-inch-wide double cutaway semi-hollow boasting warm and punchy tone and a sleek headstock design and slim C-shape neck profile.
