Latin Percussion has launched limited-edition Tito Puente Signature Timbale and Cowbell sets to mark the centennial of the birth of “El Rey del Timbal.” The Timbale Set is based on LP’s Tito Puente Steel Timbales that have a retro feel with rolled out bottoms and a Green Badge reminiscent of LP’s original timbales. Each set is laser engraved with Tito’s signature. LP will be producing a limited run of 200 units. The set includes stainless-steel shells, heavy-duty stands, cowbell bracket, timbale sticks and a tuning wrench.
