To celebrate 50 years of its SM7 mic, Shure has released 50 units of a limited, numbered Signature Edition SM7B Collector’s box set. The box set will be available only through a sweepstakes in select regions. The Signature Edition SM7B will feature the engraved signature of S.N. Shure, founder of Shure Inc., as well as a set of five custom backplates adorned with vintage Shure logos from 1925 to the 1960s. LP has announced its new series to honor the rhythmic heritage and culture of Puerto Rico with faithful, folkloric instruments. Each LP Pandero De Plena is crafted from segmented Durian wood and fitted with traditional rims, natural rawhide heads, and 5/16-inch diameter J-hook tension rods. These instruments are available in traditional Requinto, Punteador and Suguidor sizes and sold individually.
