On-Stage’s new LVCP5000 Low-Volume Cymbals are ideal for quiet practice in controlled volume settings. The LVCP5000 cymbals enable quiet, hearing-safe practice by reducing volume by nearly 70% compared to standard cymbals. Precision-crafted from stainless steel, the LVCP5000 set features a pair of 14-inch hi-hats, a 16-inch crash, an 18-inch crash and a 20-inch ride. The cymbals maintain a familiar timbre and feel, making them a perfect choice for drummers performing live in a smaller venue where higher-volume play isn’t possible.
DPA Microphones’ compact 2012 cardioid and 2015 cardioid microphones feature a durable, reinforced construction to withstand the rigors of touring. The new mics join the brand’s line of pencil mics and offer DPA’s natural and precise sound reproduction. The 2012 compact cardioid microphone acts as a generalist pencil mic that performs well on any instrument and combines a robust design with an intricate sound pickup for accurate close miking on any stage setup. The 2015 compact wide cardioid microphone performs best as a stereo pair on drum kits and instrument groups. Featuring uniform, wide cardioid directionality and a linear frequency response, a selected pair of 2015 mics offers spacious sound for horn groups, vibraphones, xylophones and other large instruments.
